"Origin who?"
Origin is a retouching and 3D studio started by a couple of guys who really enjoy creating amazing images. We've been doing it for years, working with some of the biggest companies and greatest advertising campaigns in the world. So we decided to take that experience and create something special – our own imaging studio.
Creative Retouching
A large portion of our work at Origin is creative retouching – creating a beautiful image using the best tools available. Compositing, 3D illustration, photography, scanning and creative color correction are just some of the techniques we use to turn raw ideas into something beautiful.
We also understand the importance of details. While many CG artists are accustomed to creating low resolution images for video games or television we understand that in printing every detail counts.
Creative Development
It's kind of a chicken-and-egg scenario. You have this great idea but you can't really communicate it without images. But where do you get the imagery? That's where we come in. Let's say you have a client presentation coming up and you need to show what a server room would look like if it were filled with fish. Or you need New York City to look like a basketball court. Or you need to show what your idea would look like under a microscope. We can make that happen quickly so you can get your idea sold.
An Holistic Approach to Imaging
It takes special care to understand the complete life cycle of an image. In every stage of production, from capture to output, you want someone who can keep the final product in mind. Let's face it – anyone can claim to do great work, but most struggle to make the art reproduce well in any medium. It's easy to take shots that look great on a transparency, but how will that image look when it hits a newspaper? Book? Magazine? Billboard? Website? We understand the technical details and can make the art look great wherever you want to use it. We can help in every step of the process, from the photo shoot to the press check and everything in between.
